Fall Bash Camping Registration

October 3-5, 2024

The Cedar County Event Camping Rules and Regulations – Fall Bash


1. Registered campers may arrive starting Wednesday Oct 2

2. Reselling or subletting a campsite will not be permitted.

3. Each campsite must be registered individually and occupied camper must match
the name on the application.

4. There will be no refunds of money paid for campsites.

5. No excessive noise, which may disturb other campers will be permitted.

6. No drainage water or sewage may be disposed on the surface of the ground. If
discovered, you will be asked to leave the fairgrounds and will not be permitted to
return the following year. This includes “gray water tanks.” There is a municipal
dump station in Tipton, located on the west side of the public works building at
the corner of South Street and Lynn Street.

7. Consumption of alcohol by anyone under 21 years of age will result in the
immediate revocation of all camping permits, and immediate, on the spot
expulsion from the grounds for the remainder of the fair without refund.

8. Authorized mopeds, ATVs, UTVS, allowed in designated areas.

9. Only elevated fire rings allowed, and must be attended. Cooking grills will be
permitted and must be attended. We encourage the patronage of the food
vendors on the grounds.

10.Each site may have one shade tent. The tent must remain inside the bounds of
the campsite and should be securely tied down. Do not secure tents with
electrical or water hookups. The camper will be responsible for all damage or
harm done to their own property, property of other, or harm to any caused by
their tent.

11. Any damage caused by campers to above or below ground utilities or
infrastructure will be the responsibility of the camper to pay for the cost of the
repairs and possible removal from the fairgrounds.

12.Pets must be confined or on a leash 6 feet or less in length on the fairgrounds.
Unattended pets are subject to immediate removal and impoundment. Do not
attach pet leashes, ropes, chains, clothes lines, to trees, shrubs, etc. You must
clean up after your pet.

13.Romex wire can’t be used in place of extension cords.

14.One 30-amp or 50-amp service (or the volt equivalent) per electrical site will be provided. Service will
not be changed due to the need of the camper. 50-amp service is limited.

15.Water hydrants are limited and sharing may occur. A “Y” connector is required.

16.Violation of any rule may be reason for revocation of all camping permits, and
immediate, on the spot expulsion from the fairgrounds for the reminder of the fair
without refund.

17.Trash around your area is your responsibility. You may use the dumpsters around
the fairgrounds to dispose of trash.

As a camper at the Cedar County Fairgrounds, we shall hold each other harmless from
all damages to the Premises arising from fire or other casualty occasioned by the act,
negligence, or fault of or omission of the other party.
