Pink Day At The Cedar County Fair

The Cedar County Fair is very excited to host PINK DAY on Thursday of the fair!

 

Sarah Anderson discusses what prompted this initiative and how they hope to help others.

 

“Life happens, but it can be hard to talk about or describe how it affects everyone when it happens to you, a friend, or a family member. 1 in every 8 women has been affected by Breast Cancer. It changes your life from the minute you hear ‘You have cancer.’ When our family got hit (twice) by Breast Cancer this past year, we were amazed by how many other people opened up about their journey with the disease. The PINK DAY at the 2025 Cedar County Fair is to bring awareness to Cedar County. We will also be raising funds to help a local group, ‘Team Breast Friends, ‘ which supports clinics and individuals fighting the fight against Breast Cancer locally in Eastern Iowa.” – Sarah Anderson
