POWER WHEEL RACES – “START EM’ YOUNG”

It’s time for our favorite future raceway stars to show their driving skills! We’re hosting the POWER WHEELS RACE – “Start Em Young” on Friday, September 18th at the Cedar County Raceway!

Bring out the kids, charge up those batteries, and let them experience the thrill of crossing the finish line! Tag a parent who has a mini racer at home and start charging those batteries! See you at the Cedar County Raceway!

Event Details:

• Date: Friday, September 18, 2026
• Time: 5:45 PM (in front of the grandstand!)
• Main Event: Followed immediately by the Kathy Dlouhy Memorial Race at 7:00 PM!

What You Need to Know:

• Open to kids ready to show off their Power Wheels driving skills!
• Must bring your own 6V, 12V, or 24V Power Wheels vehicle.
• Helmets, long pants, coats, and a seat belt are required for all drivers.

Free to participate for families attending the night’s racing action!

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Minimum of 3 participants and maximum of 12 per class. (The first 12 Power Wheels registered per class get to participate.  A wait list will be kept.  All will be notified about their status.)

CLASSES: Please keep the speed of Power Wheels age appropriate.

• PINT SIZE OUTLAWS: 2 – 3 years of age (6V batteries, can have “remote”)
• DIRT TRACK DEMONS: 4 – 5 years of age (12V batteries)
• CUSHION SLIDERS: 6 – 7 years of age (24V batteries)

We understand that some have modified to different batteries, so please keep in mind to keep it age-appropriate (age of the child running it – not the parent)

Parents must sign waivers and MUST be trackside with their children. (Parents must oversee their child’s setup and be ready.)
