The Cedar County Fair Board is seeking bids for mowing of the fairgrounds starting in 2027. 

The contract must include:

• Mowing of the grounds (approximately 40 acres)
• Weed eating around structures, fencing, and parking
• Weed control around structures, fencing, and parking
• Pick up sticks and branches as necessary
• Lawn sweep rocks off grass edges in spring from snow removal

This will be a one year contract with the option to extend.

The Capital Improvements Committee will review the bids and present a recommendation to the full board at the December fair board meeting on December 9, 2026. The winning bid will be notified in mid-December to sign the contract.
